About Us

Oso Creations is not your typical furniture design and fabrication studio; it's a creative space that views concrete as an art form. Founded by sculptor and designer Eric Weil, Oso Creations draws from his extensive design background, which began with sculpture studies during his college years and further blossomed through an apprenticeship with woodcarvers in Ghana.

Eric's journey took a transformative turn when he relocated to New York City, where he recognized the untapped potential of concrete as a versatile design medium. In 2004, Oso was created, a brand driven by the mission to challenge prevailing perceptions of concrete, often relegated to the realm of 'utilitarian' materials. Just one year later, Oso introduced its inaugural furniture piece, The Rollerboy, a catalyst for an entire furniture collection that now graces the showrooms of some of the most prestigious contemporary design destinations nationwide.

Oso prides itself on pushing the boundaries of design, infusing elegance and innovation into every creation. Our dedicated team of artists and fabricators, in collaboration with our clients, is in a perpetual exploration of design's limitless possibilities. Over the years, Oso has fostered valuable partnerships with a multitude of artists, designers, and architects, underscoring our commitment to artistic expression and experimentation.

What truly sets Oso apart is our unwavering passion for artistry, not just craftsmanship. We deeply appreciate the intricacies of the design process and the creative spirit that infuses each project. At Oso, we don't just make furniture; we craft works of art that elevate the concept of design and challenge conventional thinking.
